Animal Adventures Story Time 2023

Join us on the education lawn for a short story time followed by a special animal chat geared towards young children and their caretakers. Times and dates will be announced soon.

Zoo Tiny Tots

We will work to bring this program back in 2023.

We are excited to offer another session our favorite program for toddlers and their grown-ups this fall! Bring your 2-4 year old for a fun educational program facilitated by zoo staff as we learn about animal coverings. Choose from either Thursday or Saturday mornings from 9-10:30 AM.

We believe that children learn through play so our Zoo Tiny Tots curriculum is written to guide parents in fun activities aligned to the Kansas Early Learning Standards. We will practice gross and fine motor skills through games and crafts, build social and emotional awareness through interacting with peers and zoo animals, and incorporate age-appropriate math, science, and literacy standards over the series. Families are invited to stay for facilitated play time at the end of the program.
