Education Programs Coordinator

The Education Program Coordinator coordinates, develops, implements and delivers the Hutchinson Zoo's educational programming. Other primary responsibilities include providing daily husbandry and care for the educational animal collection, coordinating educational components by assisting with public relations and marketing efforts, and special projects/events. The successful candidate will have strong verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, and coordination/leadership skills.

Part-Time Gift Shop Manager

The Gift Shop Manager is responsible for serving customers by providing and selling quality merchandise. Responsibilities will include managing gift shop stock and availability, training gift shop and train volunteers, preparing financial reports for the Hutchinson Friends of the Zoo, and managing volunteer schedules. A successful candidate will have strong leadership skills, Microsoft office knowledge, organizational skills, and the ability to work with the general public.

Swing Zookeeper

The Swing Zookeeper provides daily care for a variety of wildlife including but not limited to feeding, cleaning, observing, recording, and reporting animal behavior. Participates in animal well-being practices and assessments including training and enrichment. Maintains safe, healthy, clean, and attractive habitats and public spaces and makes repairs or reports issues as needed. Provides courteous assistance to zoo guests and has excellent public relations, organization, and communication skills.
