School Outreach

School Outreach

Can’t bring your school group to the zoo? Let our educator bring a little of the zoo to you!

Program Information

Our school outreach programs are typically 30-45 minutes long and include activities, biofacts, and a live animal. Our outreach programs are tailored for 2nd grade, 4th grade, 6th grade, and high school groups according to Kansas State Science Standards.

It is recommended that class sizes be no more than 30 students for a better experience.

  • We are available to do multiple classes. If this is something your group needs, please mark it when booking online.
  • Each class is a 45 min time block. If you are booking for more than one class extend your time an additional 45 minutes and it will charge accordingly. (ex: 10am-11:30am would be 2 classes)

We can also mix different age groups during a visit (ex: first class is 2nd grade, second is 4th grade, etc.).
